Cooking

Local context: Singapore parameters

Singapore's rules are unusually flat and predictable, and Cooking reflects that structure directly.

• Income tax: Progressive resident rates from 0% up to 24%, with no capital gains tax and no inheritance tax.
• CPF: Mandatory CPF contributions from both employer and employee, split across Ordinary, Special and MediSave accounts by age band.

• Power: 230 V / 50 Hz with Type G plugs, and installations follow SS 638.

Local examples

• Example — HDB resale: A buyer checks an HDB resale figure with Cooking, keeping stamp duty as a separate calculation.

Every figure above applies to Singapore specifically and is reviewed when the rules change.
